The Big 33 is a game consisting of 33 of the best Pennsylvania senior football players each year. It was started in 1957 and Berwick's first Big 33 player was named in 1961. Since then Berwick has had a Big 33 player 23 years. They have played all-stars from Maryland, Ohio, and Texas. A total of 37 Berwick players have been named to the Big 33 Team. Former Head Coach George Curry was named Head Coach of the Big 33 in 1982 and 2002 and Assistant Coach in 1978. He was on the winning side all three years.
